The Character Word for January was: TRUSTWORTHINESS
This means that you are honest, reliable, and able to be trusted. You do not steal or cheat and you do what you say you are going to do.
The Character Word for February is: COURAGE
This means that you stand up for what you believe in. You are brave.
February is Black History Month. Each morning a slideshow with various Black History Month Trivia is shown. This helps point out the important people, places, and laws that are being celebrated this month. Ask your child if they have learned anything from this slide show.

Feel free to ask your friends, family, and neighbors for $1 and write their name on a heart. These hearts are proudly displayed in the main entrance to the school. We have already raised $68!!! Great Job!
Next month we will be participating in Pennies For Patients again. This money will go to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, South Carolina Chapter. A parent letter will be sent out with details.
