December 2009 Newsletter

I hope that all of you had a wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday.

December’s Character Word of the month is CITIZENSHIP. This means following the rules and being involved in your school, community, and country.

We are so thankful for all of the interview forms you have sent in! We are sharing these on the WRES morning news at the school. All of the children are learning so much about all of the different careers out in the world. Our students get to learn about these careers now so that they can begin to think about their futures. Having all of your interview forms help explain each of your careers and help the students decide what sounds interesting to them. THANK YOU so very much for contributing these!

This month we are learning about the difference between tattling and reporting/telling and also learning how to help stop bullying behavior at our school. Each grade level has a different lesson on these topics. Ask your child(ren) what they have learned in Classroom Guidance.

Congratulations to Reuben’s November Students of the Month:

Kamden Wix, Robert Longshore, Emily Spicer, Kaley Trent, Gene Harmon,
Rebecca Coffey, Jordan Alvarez, Tehya Cunningham, Layla Franklin, Grayson Dennis, and Brian Hyler.
