Each morning before classes begin 4th and 5th graders go on morning announcements as the WRES news team. They say the pledge of allegiance, announce what the lunch will be for the day, talk about the weather, perform character skits, poems, or short stories, and announce any other information to their audience.
We would like to invite parents to join our morning news team in the month of November. November is known as Career Month and we would like to display your careers on the am news.
The WRES News Team begins setting up at 7:30am and begins announcements at 7:45am. It would be great for our parents to give a 5 to 10 minute talk or description of their careers for the entire school to see. All you have to do is bring yourself. Props are welcome as well.
If you are unable to make it to school we can send home a brief interview form and your child can read it to us during the morning news.
